EVOPOS can send SMS messages for notifications and marketing.
Sender ID
You can choose a sender ID when sending SMS from EVOPOS, this could be:
- A mobile number you own
- A dedicated mobile number you purchase from us
- Your business name
- A random mobile number
Mobile number you own
This allows you to receive replies from your customers to a mobile phone. You will still need to say who the message is from as they might not have your number saved.
Mobile number you purchase from us
Currently this allows you to receive replies via email, we are working on the ability for 2 way SMS in EVOPOS, so replies will go straight into EVOPOS.
Your business name
You wont be able to receive replies if you use your business name, however you won't need to say who the message if from. The name you use is restricted to 11 characters.
Random number
This is the default option, sometimes this number could be used by other businesses.

Receive replies
Customers can reply to your SMS and be received by phone, email, or EVOPOS.
No signature
You do not need to say who the message is from as your sender ID is set to your business name
Auto Opt Out
Customers can reply STOP to automatically opt out of receiving SMS, this is done at the account level, so if you try send a SMS after opting out, it wont be sent.
Keywords
Keywords can be used for things like competitions and surveys.
